The Food Lovers Diet not only includes grains, but it includes soy. Soy is largely a genetically engineered food and loaded with pesticides that are estrogen mimickers.

Estrogen mimickers abound in our chemically laden homes and food industries.

  • Pesticides
  • Herbicides
  • Petroleum products (absorbed through the skin from commercial laundry detergents)
  • Plastics that we touch and even inhale from dishes, computers, our cars, toys etc.
  • Flame retardants in our clothes, furniture and carpets

We can’t control our environment anymore.

But we can control what we eat.

Am I saying that the Food Lovers Diet is a bad diet? No, not at all. It is a great healthy diet with no excesses of any food group. It is excellent for individuals who can still use fat for fuel.

I was very skeptical of this possibility until – here’s a true life story, something I personally witnessed. I worked with a woman who was a caretaker for her mom.

Perfect? Not! Medical science established decades ago that eating carbohydrates prevents the body from using fat for fuel.

Fruits are very high in sugars. Some less so than others. However, fructose is an inflammatory food, now associated with heart disease.
