A quick glance at a review of the Food Lovers Diet Plan in Fitness Magazine shows that all meals and snacks include grains and sugars (fruits).

The Food Lovers Diet not only includes grains, but it includes soy. Soy is largely a genetically engineered food and loaded with pesticides that are estrogen mimickers.
Estrogen mimickers abound in our chemically laden homes and food industries.
- Pesticides
- Herbicides
- Petroleum products (absorbed through the skin from commercial laundry detergents)
- Plastics that we touch and even inhale from dishes, computers, our cars, toys etc.
- Flame retardants in our clothes, furniture and carpets
We can’t control our environment anymore.
But we can control what we eat.
Am I saying that the Food Lovers Diet is a bad diet? No, not at all. It is a great healthy diet with no excesses of any food group. It is excellent for individuals who can still use fat for fuel.
How To Lose Fat Fast Without Exercise
I was very skeptical of this possibility until – here’s a true life story, something I personally witnessed. I worked with a woman who was a caretaker for her mom.
Her mom was disabled with bad knee joints and had a degree of dementia. And, she was was obese.
This woman put herself and her mom on the Atkins Diet (I write about that
one HERE, again, click on it and this page will stay open) which is the same in principle as No Nonsense Ted’s.
In three months they had both lost over fifty pounds. This is an elderly woman who could not even take a walk. She sat all day, every day.
I remember my mouth watering once when her daughter described the pan fried pork chops she’d made the day before – coated in almond crumbs, as a substitute for bread crumbs.
This was the kind of yummy meal they were shedding fat with!
Here’s a video by a fellow who lost 70 pounds, talking about the keto, or low carbohydrate, high fat diet.
Fitness Magazine asserts, about the Food Lovers diet, that it is:
“The most effective combo for dropping pounds fast is one that is high in whole grains, vegetables, and fruits, contains mostly unsaturated fats from olive oil or nuts, and provides a healthy dose of extra-lean protein from dairy, legumes, soy, fish, and lean meat. Our plan is perfect.”
Perfect? Not! Medical science established decades ago that eating carbohydrates prevents the body from using fat for fuel.
Fruits are very high in sugars. Some less so than others. However, fructose is an inflammatory food, now associated with heart disease.
Why Are Saturated Fats Important

Remember the egg white craze? How bad egg yolks are for us? That was simply not true. Some individuals do not eat egg whites at all, but only the yolks.
