Top 10 Foods To Avoid When Dieting

Do you ever wonder what the top 10 foods to avoid when dieting are? For instance say you got up today and decided “I am going to start losing weight today no matter what!”.

You don’t have time to start looking up diets on line, buying diet food meals or re-stocking your fridge. You don’t have time for anything extra right now! All you know that is, right now you want to start losing weight.

So what will you eat first? Do you have three minutes to make breakfast? The right breakfast, that is.

Because one of the food groups you are going to avoid is grains, all of them. So no toast, bagels or cereal.

How about scrambled eggs made with coconut oil, or butter? Crack three into your Nutri Bullet cup, blend and cook slowly scrambling gently for two minutes or less.

Sprinkle some grated cheese on top. A little cayenne too, as it is one of the foods that increases metabolism.

If you have anything else in the protein group handy you could eat that instead. A chicken thigh, a piece of leftover fish.

Be sure to enjoy coffee with cream. But sweeten it with just one drop of some zero calorie natural product like Organic Sweet Leaf Stevia drops.

Because another of those 10 foods to avoid is sugar, in any form. Yet stevia, a plant, is extremely sweet, thus the one drop.

Eat the fat for omega 3 oils!

Saturated Fats Facts to solve any problem you have with eating the right fats.

Let’s go on to lunch time, following the idea that you’re going to lose weight today no matter what.

Foods That Burn Fat Increase Metabolism

Foods that burn fat” or “fat burning foods” are phrases that don’t really mean anything, but they have become catch phrases for foods that will lead to your body burning fat for fuel, instead of sugars, in any form.

So foods don’t burn anything,  but they get processed for energy. And you can choose the foods that will trigger your system to burn fat for energy.

Your breakfast has already done a good deed – well YOU have. That protein and healthy oil meal has DEPRIVED your body of sugars from grains, to burn as energy.

That’s a good thing!

It may only take a few days until your metabolic syndrome  – which is an ongoing condition where your body burns sugars, i.e. carbohydrates, for fuel, converts to burning fats.

Metabolic syndrome means that all the fats you eat (and sugars you can’t burn off after eating them) will be stored.

  • As belly fat.
  • “Love handles”.
  • The pouches of fat that rub between your upper thighs which chafe and burn.

I’ll stop there. Other body areas that build up fat become cringe-worthy in reference or description!

So let’s solve lunch!

Fat Burning Metabolism Foods

You ate a great breakfast, giving your body only fat and protein to burn as fuel. So what will you avoid at lunch?

I’m going with the assumption that you didn’t pack your own lunch.

So if you go to the nearest cafe or even a burger place – what can you eat?

You are going to avoid:

  • Buns
  • Crackers
  • Wraps
  • Burritos
  • Fries
  • Baked potatoes

You can still order a sandwich or burger if you ask for it to be wrapped in lettuce. For example, In ‘N’ Out Burger has a “double double” order – double  burger, double cheese – which you can get wrapped in lettuce. Yep, it’s filling!

So what might be belly fat burning food for lunch?

  • Tuna or salmon salad
  • Egg salad on lettuce (if you didn’t have eggs for breakfast)
  • Chicken or turkey wrapped in romaine lettuce
  • Tuna or chicken with “zoodles” (noodles made from zucchini)

Your choices will of course depend on the style of cafes and eateries you have to select from. Since you left home on the fly with your commitment “I am going to lose weight today no matter what” it may be limited.

But you can still do it!!

From Sugar To Heart Disease

“Research in the BMJ journal OpenHeart points to processed sugar as a bigger threat than salt when it comes to blood pressure and heart disease.2donuts with sprinkles

Other studies clearly show the link between cancer and processed sugar.3

I help my patients stay young and avoid chronic diseases by keeping their sugar intake as low as possible.

But here’s the thing…

When I talk about sugar I don’t just mean a teaspoon of sugar in your coffee.

I mean all the foods and drinks that easily break down into sugar when you eat them.

Things like bagels, bread, pasta, crackers and pretzels will get you to the same place as sucking on a few lumps of sugar. Sugar is also hidden in most processed foods like ketchup, salad dressings and canned soup.” –Al Sears, M.D.

Dr. Sears goes on to say:

“It has led to a modern pandemic I’ve named Syndrome Zero. With Syndrome Zero your body pumps out too much insulin. It builds up in your bloodstream. Your body becomes insulin resistant. Your cells become starved for energy. And you become vulnerable to virtually every disease.”

He is describing Metabolic syndrome. His advice to avoid the sugars in grains and grain products and processed foods products, is exactly the same as the meals and recipes in the No Nonsense Ted lose weight for life package.

And that solves the problem for you, of how to reverse metabolic syndrome naturally.

But I’m jumping ahead – didn’t mean to! Today you have decided to “lose weight no matter what” by simply avoiding the top 10 foods that pile fat on.

On to dinner time!

Since you want to avoid those top 10 foods, you can simply do the following:

  • Replace potatoes with cauliflower
  • Replace rice with ‘cauliflower rice’ or ‘broccoli rice’ now available in stores
  • Replace the dinner roll with half an avocado

Yep, you’ll be full!

Avoid risky sugar filled condiments like ketchup, and bottled dressings or sauces. Ask for oil and vinegar for a salad dressing.

See how you (theoretically) just got through the whole day losing weight?

It may even show on the scale the next morning. One thing that carbs do is retain water, which is non-fat weight.

If it doesn’t show yet don’t panic!

Eat Fat Stay Thin – Solve The Diet Problem!

What is the problem with dieting? Isn’t it being hungry a lot? Like, a lot? And maybe tired and having headaches too? Those are common complaints of dieters.

Many diets restrict calories and you can’t consume enough to have energy. Low fat low calorie menus just don’t cut it.

Let me ask you this – are you ready to solve that problem?

The main reason I recommend the Belly Fat Melt Diet is because I have been familiar with its principles for a long time. I’m not a chemist but I’ve read the Dr.s Eades and Eades (Protein Power) and Dr. Atkins’ many books.

Want to just do it? Start losing weight no matter what?

Ted has complied all the tried and true information and added some new data to a 185 page eBook, meal plans and recipes.

You are not alone!

  1. Thank you for the informative article. This is quite useful as I am struggling with weight due to all the changes that are happening. This really pinpoints issues that I thought were not a factor in weight control, I am learning otherwise. This being a great resource for making some realistic and obtainable goals. • Hi Xavier. I’m glad if I can help you get a plan! One thing the No Nonsense Ted plan mentions is to make changes gradually. You don’t have to cold turkey on diet changes although many do without problems.
