Teased! A new one-off Bugatti to be unveiled on August 7
Bugatti has just dropped a teaser on social media, hinting at a new coachbuilt hypercar. It will be unveiled on August 7.
The teaser shows the sleek, sculpted bodywork of what is believed to be a one-off. Rumours suggest that it could be based on the Chiron. Details, though, are scarce at this point in time.
What we do know is that the car has been commissioned by Dutch businessman Michel Perridon of Perridon Holdings. As you can clearly make out from the video, the car is painted in a shade of metallic green. The dark section looks like the rear engine cover. It appears to be made from two glass panels with a matte black frame around them.
If the new one-off Bugatti is indeed based on the Chiron, as the rumours go, it might be powered by the 1600 hp version of the 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine.
Does this also mean that we will see more one-off models with the W16 engine in the future?
