Shelby American teases new Mustang ahead of world premiere

Shelby American has released the first teaser image of its upcoming model, ahead of its arrival next month. The teaser image released on the brand’s official social handles is based on the latest-generation S650 Mustang.

The upcoming Shelby Mustang, as seen from the teaser image, will feature a massive spoiler on the tailgate. It is also expected to be wider than the standard Mustang.

The upcoming Mustang from Shelby American is also expected to have plenty of aerodynamic elements all around and make heavy use of carbon fibre to help reduce the overall weight of the muscle car. The styling will also be more aggressive, while the interiors could be stripped down to the bare essentials.

The new Shelby American will make its world premiere on 12th August at the Monterey Car Week.
