McLaren reveals 750S JC96 limited edition for the Japanese market
McLaren has unveiled a Japan-only limited edition of the 750S. It’s called the McLaren 750S JC96. It is an homage to the F1 GTRs that competed in the All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC).
The 750S JC96 comes in a unique livery inspired by the Team Goh F1 GTRs that competed in the 1996 JGTC campaign. They also have ultra-lightweight 15-spoke forged alloy wheels with gold brake calipers, a stainless steel Sports exhaust, painted details on wing endplates, mirror casings and JC96 branding.
The special edition is also equipped with the MSO High Downforce Kit (HDK) that generates 10% additional downforce. It includes a revised front bumper housing the enlarged dual-element splitter, a Raised Active Rear Spoiler with integrated endplates, and a Louvred Under-wing Panel. And for the first time, the HDK is being offered on the 750S Spider.
The 750S JC96 gets an F1 GTR-inspired interior with Alcantara upholstery in Carbon Black, F1-inspired pedal set in Gold finish, ambient lighting, engine bay lighting, and JC96 branding all around.
The McLaren 750S JC96 will be limited to 61 units and will only be sold in Japan.
