Lexus LFR supercar revealed in concept form at Pebble Beach
Lexus has just revealed its new supercar concept at The Quail. The so-called LFA successor is rumoured to be called the LFR. The prototype was recently showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Lexus LFR concept has a classic coupe design with a long hood and short overhangs. It has a sharp-looking front section with V-shaped LED DRLs. There are massive ducts on the sides – one behind the front wheel arch and the other adjoining the rear glass.
The rear end sports a striking design with a full-width LED light bar, a large rear wing and a diffuser. Another interesting detail is the dual exhausts tucked under the rear spoiler.
Lexus hasn’t revealed the technical details of its next flagship supercar. However, rumors suggest that it could be powered by a brand-new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with a hybrid system. The internal combustion engine is said to produce around 720 hp, while the hybrid will provide another 180 hp.
