Corvette Z06 piling up at dealerships; Massive discounts on offer

The Corvette Z06 was launched in late 2021. Now, a couple of years into its sales, demand for the mid-engined American supercar seems to have slowed down.

As per reports, almost 3,711 units of the MY2024 and MY2025 Corvette C8 remain unsold at dealer lots. Of these, the Z06 models account for 1,714 units, while the Stingray & E-Ray account for 1,121 and 876 units, respectively.

One of the main reasons for this could be the updates on the 2026 models, which come with a redesigned interior with larger screens and fewer buttons. Another reason could be that customers are looking to buy the newer versions of the C8, in the form of the ZR1 and ZR1X. Both these models get a twin-turbocharged version of the Z06’s 5.5-litre V8 engine, producing over 1000 BHP.

The low demand and pile-up at dealer lots translates to massive discounts for customers. Dealerships in the USA are now offering the Corvette Z06 either at MSRP or even lower. Reports even suggest discounts worth up to US$ 10,000 from the supercar’s original MSRP.
