2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S (992.2) may be revealed on September 7
It’s no secret that Porsche is working on the 911 Turbo facelift. Test mules of the 911 Turbo 992.2 have already been spotted testing, and as per the latest rumors, it might debut in a couple of months.
The new Porsche 911 Turbo 992.2 is likely to be unveiled on September 7 and will make its first public appearance at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich on September 9.
There has been a lot of talk about the new 911 Turbo’s powertrain. The car is likely to come with a larger 3.8-liter 9A3 engine, featuring a single electric turbocharger. It is estimated to produce around 730 hp. The same engine could be offered on the 911 GT2 RS facelift in a higher state of tune, producing around 800+ hp.
On the design front, the 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo 992.2 will feature subtle exterior changes. Spy images reveal a redesigned front bumper and rectangular vents with active flaps. The retractable air deflector on the underside will be carried over.
Porsche has made a few design tweaks to the rear as well. There’s a new rear bumper with a black insert, new quad exhaust tips, and reprofiled LED taillights connected by an LED light bar. The new 911 Turbo also gets an active rear spoiler like its predecessor.
The 911 Turbo S will be introduced in the market first, followed by the 911 Turbo.
